In Tuki, players must build a building using the pieces they have in their hand, based on the cards and dice they face up. They must stack the pieces in such a way that, while maintaining balance, they can build the building as it should be according to the pattern, given the limited number of pieces.
In Eskimo culture, the word “tukilik” refers to objects that carry a message(s), and the northern landscape is full of such symbols and signs. The most famous of these signs are the “inukshoks”; structures made of hard stone – usually in the shape of a human body – that northern people used as symbols of the land or for commemoration and remembrance.
Each turn of the Tuki game, you must try to build an “inukshok” based on what the dice tell you, using the rocks and large pieces of snow you have. Your pieces are limited, so use all your creativity and use the 3D pieces in a way that always maintains balance. There is always a correct answer… you just have to discover it!
You can play “Tuki” on two levels: easy (for beginners) and hard (for experts). You have to be quick and precise and turn your stones into messengers from the north…
